Nearly 10 years in development...

Currently in its 4th incarnation, e-shot™ was originally developed back in 1999 for Forfront to keep in contact with its clients regarding product updates and new services. Forfront pioneered an email mailshot system with open (read/displayed) statistics which has later become the standard for email campaign analysis. A rudimentary but solid system was born.

By 2000 the email marketing became a popular module of forfront's Content Management System (CMS) and as our first clients suggested new features to us, the full potential of a stand alone email marketing web application became clear and led to the development of e-shot™ as an Application Service Provision (ASP) solution. This enabled our existing clients as well as other organisations to acquire valuable opt-in email addresses and send prospect and clients regular updates, special offers and other relevant information. In 2001 the first stand-alone version was released.

Three releases later, each one enhancing the functionality and ease-of-use of the previous, version 4 now has the most comprehensive targeting engine in the industry. Its architecture gives the organisation complete control in managing contacts, creation of professionally designed messages and accurately targeting them, all in a simple to use highly available online application.

Net Formation Ltd. t/a forfront.net is primarily a software house specialising in the design and development of Internet solutions and back office applications. Since it was founded in 1998 forfront have invested heavily in providing scalable solutions for its clients, providing original and dynamic marketing, web applications and e-commerce solutions for businesses.

Forfront.net employs staff that hold key skills in graphic design; programming, software analysis, creation and integration of digital media; database design, database integration and management; marketing, systems administration and security. In practice, a project team is created to work with the client and offer the skills required for the project. We do not outsource or use contract staff and the senior members of the business each have over twenty years experience in IT.
